A hodgepodge of the last couple of months and to finally be caught up!!

Well, February is almost gone and man has it been such a wild ride in such a short month. The most exciting part of February is Valentine's day...right? Well, when you are single then it isn't really the best day because it is not Valentine's day it is Singles Awareness Day or S.A.D. for those of your who like acronyms. But this Valentines day for me was much different than ever before probably because for starters Janora is engaged and we did not celebrate together and second I was able to spend it with some fabulous people from my ward! There were four of us who got together and we had a potluck.

First we had our appetizers courtesy of Jenna's students.

We had yummy cheesey garlic bread!!

Pina colodas to drink...

and cupcakes for dessert!

Here is the final product on my plate...looks scrumptous! Spaghetti and salad are two of my favorites!

We all enjoyed a great evening together while watching some episodes of Glee and then Romancing the Bride (love the eye candy in that one)...how appropriate for Valentines day.

The most most exciting part of the month of February was going home and watching the superbowl with my family! Especially because the Packers won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also because I was in P-town I was able to see my bestest friend Erika and go to the temple with her and spend the day in Idaho Falls with her. Also we were able to get together with the girls from highschool and catch up. Nostalgia is great! I love getting together and remembering are old days!

So after Valentines day it was Janora's birthday. We got together to celebrate at Kim and Ben's. It was a fun night! Here are some pictures of our night. We both had such great birthdays!!

So nothing really exciting happened in Janurary. My kids were a little crazy coming back from Christmas break. We were so excited to go on a field trip to a dance performance downtown at the capitol theater. The kids loved going on the bus and watching all the balloons fall from the sky. Oh! My good friend and coworker Katey moved to Arizona with my best friend :) and her husband Justin. Justin was lucky enough to get a job down there and they were able to move back to where they both grew up. It was bittersweet but now I have an excellant place to go to for spring break....right Katey?

Back up to the BEST month ever!!!!! December is always such a busy month with Christmas, New Year's eve, and my Birthday!!! First off we had fun FHE's in December which consisted of one; making a tower out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows and second; making a gingerbread house which included snow. The pictures are below. Also a fun cupcake I received at some gathering in the month...Packer colors! Was this foreshadowing their win at the superbowl?

Continuing on into December...I was super busy at work with my kids and having them learn the songs for the holiday program. It turned out wonderful. We had the whole thing focused on light and we sang songs from the different cultures that have celebrations around that time of the year. We even did this fun song, Light up the tree, and the children all had little flashlights. It turned out great even if our piano guy couldn't see his music for part of it but I was able to help him out by shining a flashlight for him.

Janora was so awesome to me this year for my birthday. She threw me a surprise birthday party along with my friends Kim and Ben and their little baby Cameron. I had NO idea and was so shocked when it happened. It was very intimate but very fun. I received two copies of Despicable Me. My friends know me too well! On my actual birthday I had to sing in church for the Christmas program in the choir and in a small group. It was really fun. My friend Sarah invited me over for dinner and her mom made me a yummy chocolate cake. I also got to play Just Dance 2 on the Wii and absolutely loved it and still do to this day! Also that Monday at work I received a bouquet of flowers from a student at the school. They were so beautiful! I have never even taught her so I was so shocked to get something from her. A boy from my class gave me a hat, gloves, and 2 scarves. One of the scarves and the hat were both made by his mother. They were so pretty! I loved it. I had the best birthday ever! Turning a quarter of a century old wasn't so bad.

Pics from my surprise birthday party!

My beautiful flowers!

My homemade hat and scarf!

Another thing that happened in December was I wore my first ugly sweater. I also didn't buy it, well I bought the stuff to make it ugly and boy was it ugly! I won a prize at the party that I went to. It was an awesome snowman clock that sings a Christmas carol every hour and if it is dark then the songs are really quite. It was awesome and such a fun night!

Christmas was fun with my family. All my aunts were able to be there for the firs annual Wolf Christmas Eve party. It was fun to have our gift exchange. I had the best gift ever! I made a plate of a family tree with all the families names on it. It was pretty fun. I was able to walk away with the 2nd best game for groups. It is a trivia game called Smart A$$. We had a fun night it was fun to do things with my family that I hardly ever get to see. My cousins and I also got into a marshmallow war with PVC pipe shooters! Seriously so fun! Here are some pictures from that week!

So this last part is an update that I started back in November...but never finished it.

So first and foremost...Happy Halloween...yesterday. I got good use out of my costume. First, I went to 2 dances, one party and a wore it to school. The fall festival at school was fun. We had lots of cute costumes from all the kids. My co-teacher and assistant were a scarecrow and a red M&M. All my kids had a blast doing all the games and seeing their parents. It was a lot of work but worth it to see the kids happy and smiling.

Me before my last "boo-rah" for Halloween. I loved my costume and am very glad I invested in it.

So back tracking a little...back in.........September. The Utah State Fair came to town and Janora and I went to the rodeo. It was fun. We played a carnival game, looked at the livestock, I ate a funnel cake and we enjoyed watching the cowboys at the rodeo. Here are some pics of that fun event.

I have great plans for March! The beginning of the month starts off with free pancakes, Dr. Seuss' birthday, National Pie Day, St. Patrick's day and the first day of spring!! I can't wait for another blog post but seriously it will not be as long as this one! Hope you enjoyed catching up with me!! :)

Until next time Blogger stalkers!
